February 2026 Meeting

This February, we volunteered at Soup4Seniors. This service project has become a regular for our group. To learn more about Soup4Seniors and the Local Office on Aging, visit here.

January 2026 Meeting

For our January meeting, we had Jeff Lawson, a local EMT, as our speaker. He talked about how he got to where he is, told stories about his time in service, and did several demonstrations with a dummy.

December 2025 Meeting

For our December service project, we volunteered at the local rescue mission. We opened, boxed and distributed food to those in need. It was an amazing opportunity to serve, and we're looking forward to volunteering here again.

November 2025 Meeting

This November, we had the honor of local police officer Jason Shilling as our speaker. He told entertaining stories about his time in service, explained the positions, hours, and commitment of his unique job, and discussed the role of being a Christian in the field.

It was a very enlightening and fun talk!

October 2025 Meeting

This month, we participated in providing a fun obstacle course for kids in the "Friendship House" after-school program. The Friendship House is a local Christian program that provides refugee housing, emergency food, children’s after-school care and more.

We had a lot of fun playing with the kids and serving here! To learn more about Friendship House, visit here.

September 2025 Meeting

On September twelfth, as the first meeting of the 2025-26 school year, we began with inducting two new members: Jonathan Giraudeau and Daniel Ronk.

Next, we nominated and voted on officers, with Elijah Townsend as President, Vivian Fernandez as Vice President, Kate Fernandez as Secretary, Jonathan Giraudeau as Treasurer, Owen Bishop as Paramentarian, Ella Cox as Historian/Webmaster, and Daniel Ronk as Snacks and Devotions Coordinator.

After nominations, we discussed plans for this year, including the upcoming speakers and service projects.

It was an excellent start to the year!
