Rescue Mission Service Project

Since 1948, Roanoke Rescue Mission has been serving the less fortunate & giving them food & a place to sleep. Over 200 people come in everyday looking for a safe place. All of the food they serve is by donation & is mostly run by dedicated volunteers.

Speaker - March 2014

We had the pleasure of hearing Pastor Jim Kistner's testimony & his knowledge about personal finance. A retired doctor since 2001, pastoring ever since, he has been on multiple mission trips to Dominican Republic, Mexico, and more. He attended UVA for Anesthesiology & moved to Roanoke in 1985 with his wife and children. He told us a lot about using your available financial blessing for good & how to practically use your money.
