Eta Sigma Alpha National Homeschool Honor Society

Lola Cox went through school blind, worked for many years blind, and lived and successful and fulfilling life blind. We had the privilege to hear her speak about her experiences and what she had to do to live a normal life.

The Rescue Mission is a ministry dedicated to helping hurting people in various ways. On March 30, 2017, we had the privilege of serving dinner to those in need. To find out more about the Rescue Mission, click  here !

Local business owner John Lipscomb spoke at our March meeting about his life and business in property management, as well as how to serve God through ordinary jobs.

At our first meeting of the year, honor society alumni Ben Cordle, Micah Giraudeau, Andrew Norton, David Norton, Elizabeth Shannon, and Mary Shannon answered our questions about college.

One in eight people in Southwest Virginia are at risk of going hungry, a problem which Feeding America is looking to fix. On January 5, 2017, we were able to volunteer for them, sorting out food that was not safe to eat. Learn more about what they do  here !

On December 3, 2016, we had the opportunity to volunteer for the Saint Nick's Christmas Fair at Jeter Farm. The event is run by Global Partners in Peace and Development with all the proceeds going to poor and impoverished children around the world. Find more information by clicking  here !
